We are most thankful for... Flame Staff share thoughts

During this holiday season, the Flame staff wants to share what they are thankful for:

Fore – 2021 has been a crazy year, but I am so thankful for it. I’m thankful for all the amazing opportunities I got this year, and I’m grateful for my friends and family who supported me through all of it. I’m also grateful for how great this school year has been for me, and I hope it only continues to get better.

Chloe- I’m thankful for the relationships I have and the people who continue to support me through everything.

Ava – I’m grateful for my friends and family, as they have guided me through this year and always made me feel loved and comfortable. I’m also thankful for this school year to finally be (semi) back to normal after the chaos of last school year. I hope for a progressive future and for Dylan O’Brien to be in more movies.

Dakota– I am very grateful for my family. They have been there for me and support me in everything I do. Without them, I wouldn’t be the person I am today, and I would not be as happy as I am. I am very fortunate to have everything that I do and that is all because of my parents.

Thomas – More than anything else, I am grateful for my family. My mom, my dad, my brother: they’ve all been extremely supportive with everything that I’ve done, helping and guiding me along the way. I could have never done half the things I have without them, and I can’t be more grateful for that. I really appreciate everything that they’ve done for me (whether I’ve noticed it or not), and I consider myself lucky to have such a wonderful family.

Camryn– Throughout my whole life, nothing has ever been more important to me than my family. My family is my constant support, shoulder to lean on and the people I turn to when I need to smile. Without my family, especially my two brothers, I would never be the person I am today. I am so beyond grateful for the family I have been blessed with and all the amazing memories I have been so fortunate to be able to make with them throughout these past 17 years. Everything that I accomplish and all of my goals for my future, would not be possible without the greatest support system and roots I have gained and established from my family.

Madison – With everything that’s been going on with COVID, I’m so grateful to finally be back in school and see my friends again even though we’re all wearing masks. Without my great teachers, my friends, and my family, these past two years would have been really difficult to get through. I am so grateful that we’re not spending another year at home in quarantine and that we finally get to go back to a new normal this year!

Danny– I am so thankful for the good health that has stayed in my family during COVID. This has been a hard time for many, but I have been very fortunate, and for that I am thankful.

Conor – I am thankful for the new friends I have made, and my existing friendships that have grown in 2021.

Sejal – Thankful for friends and the opportunities the year has given me.

Grace– I am thankful for the health of those I care for when many others cannot say the same for their loved ones. I’m also thankful for the people in my house, since we all learned during quarantine that the more family under your roof meant the more people you could sit with, talk in the same room with, and hang out with; I didn’t realize how lucky I was not to be an only child until then.

Mrs. Schonewise– I am thankful for a wonderful staff, who continues to write and publish despite all their difficult classes and other activities!
