Kingsway Girls Tennis: A Victory for Senior Night

The Kingsway Girls’ Tennis Team improved their undefeated record to 10-0 with a win against Delsea on Wednesday, October 3rd. With all eyes on the court, first doubles players and seniors Sydney Maroney and Theresa Reed pulled through in winning the final points of their third set. Second doubles player and senior Zalak Modi said, “It was intense and terrifying waiting for the last moment in the third set for our team to win. When we did, we felt on top of the world and had a reason to celebrate for senior night!” Coach Amanda Silvesti said, “The game had us on the edge of our seats. Our girls never gave up, and we wound up pulling through with a 3-2 win.” The team is overjoyed to show the power of what Kingsway tennis looks like at the play-offs and to also continue the season strongly with all of the dedication and endless support that this year has to offer.
