New Crowned 2020 Homecoming Royalty: Cole Griscom – King Taylor Gary – Queen

Friday, Oct 24, homecoming candidates, football players, band and color guard  members, dance team members, cheerleaders  and all of the latter family members  gathered at the football stadium for the 2020 homecoming game. The football team was victorious over Deptford, pulling ahead permanently in the third quarter and beating Deptford 33-21.

Although this year’s homecoming was the first time, seniors could not celebrate at the game or host a dance because of Covid-19, there were some other positive firsts.

It was the first time the homecoming game was held in the refurbished stadium and on the new track. It was also the first time in the school’s history that a king was crowned at the game and able to be escorted by family.

Members of the court were:

Gianna Bucs
Taylor Gary – Queen
Julia Nocentino
Karina Oman
Cami O’Rourke
Abby Zuccato
Carlo DeAngelo
Cole Griscom – King
Riley Harker
Braden O’Rourke
Zach Schneider
Eric Williams

Traditionally, only the female members of the court were announced, and escorted by family or friends at the game. Since the students could not hold a pep rally or dance to crown the king, both king and queen were announced during the game’s half-time.
