Kingsway’s 2023 AP Breakfast was held on Friday, December 8th from 7:15 to 7:45 am to celebrate the hard work of seniors in AP courses. With a great turnout, the breakfast was the perfect event to lead into the weekend and gave AP students a well-deserved celebration.
The breakfast was attended by most AP teachers and any senior in an AP class who wished to attend. Food served included bagels, fruit, eggs, sausage, potatoes, coffee and more.
Students were able to have fun with their friends (even if it was just for a half-hour before school) and put classwork aside. Teachers also congratulated their students on their hard work.
Kingsway’s AP program offers a way for students to challenge themselves academically and receive college credits for passing the exam with a three out of six or higher. In AP classes students can connect with their peers over schoolwork and make great friends, which was definitely celebrated during the breakfast.
Kingsway offers a wide range of AP classes to fit any student’s interests or academic journey. Such classes include everything from AP Environmental Science and AP Government to AP Drawing and AP Psychology.
As an attendee of the breakfast myself, I thought it was a wonderful time to connect with my friends and enjoy a positive start to the school day as well as a celebratory end to the week.
