Prom 2024 hosted the largest group of seniors ever at the Cherry Hill Double Tree Hotel on May 31. Over 440 Class of 2024 students attended and well over 500 people danced the night away. Seniors Robert Scott in a traditional black suit and Rayna Dadhania, who looked lovely in a beautiful full-length red-orange dress were crowned by class advisers Nicholas Fiocco and Chelsea Valdera at about 9:45 pm. Students swarmed the floor to congratulate both and people chanted Robert’s name as they were crowned. Both seniors were congratulated by the rest of this year’s court that included Dillon Dukes, Ian Farls, Jacob Hamaty, Sean Kirwin, Harrison LaBarbera, Gabriel Gonzalez, Madelyn Hicks, Rylie McFarland, Allison Phallines and Mary Wordelmann
Scott said, “I am so incredibly humbled and grateful to have been crowned prom king by my peers. If you would’ve told me four years ago that I would receive this honor, I would’ve never believed you. I am so thankful for the relationships I’ve been able to form over the past four years and truly feel honored to be a part of Kingsway’s one Dragon family. Thank you to everyone who voted and to my immensely supportive fellow prom court nominees.”
The colors of the season were beautiful with shades of green, red, and yellow being the most popular of the night. The venue’s dance floor was large enough to accommodate an enormous dance crowd. All buffet and dessert tables outside the ballroom and a photo booth gave the promgoers a roomy atmosphere. Check out the gallery for some before, during, and crowning moments of the night.
