A student who is already in hot pursuit of her dreams is Makayla Kline. Her work has got her accepted into the No. 1 art university in the country, Savannah College of Art and Design. Located in Savannah, Georgia, SCAD is known for giving artists all the resources and connections that they would need to succeed in the real world as artists. After her time at SCAD, Makayla plans on using what she has learned to start her own business as an independent painter.

. Originally Makayla dreamed of working as a concept artist for the Walt Disney Animation Studios. Working in a studio is a job that may seem easier to succeed in, but it was traded for a greater dream of entrepreneurship. Makayla’s ambition is not only felt through her immense dreams but also in the vision she has for her artwork. Her pieces show an obvious understanding of color theory. Her great use of value makes the realism in her work stand out perfectly, especially when accompanied by the vibrant colors she uses.
