Habitat for Humanity Sells Snowmen

Habitat for Humanity members are making snowmen to sell at the craft fair and throughout the holidays. There are three different sizes that are being sold. The small ones are $15, the large ones without yard stakes are $20, and the large ones with the stakes are $25. They’re being sold all day long on November 4th. The president of the club, Kristin Liqouri is excited about the new project and “loves the snowmen”. “It’s community service.” she said. New adviser Kristian Ward said he likes advising these students because they show a different attitude.  “It is not all about me. It is an unselfish activity for kids.” Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer-based organization that builds decent and affordable housing for low-income families. Students can  join by going to room 116 and asking Mr. Ward, the adviser of the club, about joining.
