The Sound of Music came to the Kingsway stage on March 8-10. Directed by Mr. Dalton, the show starts by following a young postulant named Maria who was played by Skylar Galati. On request of Mother Abbess, Marie Altmann, Maria leaves the abbey to work for Captain Von Trapp, played Timothy Reynolds. She becomes the governess of seven children played by Veronica Rodriguez, Gabrielle Allen, Hailey Ferry, Adeyemi Ogunkanmmi, Patrice Martin, Cole Griscom, and Lila Swietanski. Other characters in the show include Elsa von Schraeder, Sarah Snook, Max Detweiler, Robbie Wiscount, and Rolf, Joey Ramierez. The show was well attended, and the cast and crew was phenomenal.
